About the Client
A leader in the Energy and Electrical sector in Australia and currently service over 1.5 million domestic and business connections and delivering electricity to a population base of around 3.5 million people. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Fitter for an immediate start on a project in Geebung .

What you will be doing
You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 9 Day (72hr) fortnight, with 1x RDO each fortnight with the occasional Saturday work when required or RDO work if required. Your normal working hours will be 6.30am - 3pm. You will be working on MEWP's, VLC's and slewing mobile cranes and will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of hydraulic circuits and components and fault finding. You will have general understanding of auto electrical systems, heavy plant maintenance and preferably MEWP exposure.
What you will need
  • Electrical Trade qualified
  • Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
  • HR drivers licence desirable but not mandatory
  • High Risk Licence - HR, DG, C2, LF also desirable
  • Available for an immediate start and able to commit to a minimum of 6 months work
  • Current resume with 2 x work related references
  • Prior experience in maintenance and repairs of hydraulic circuits
