ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Engineering Manager - Transmission lines, the Senior Engineer - Transmission Lines will be working with our Power engineering team, who are mainly based in Sydney, and work alongside industry experts and provide high level technical advice and support to all stakeholders, including our proposal teams, our project teams and our clients. Drawing on your technical expertise you will provide transmission line designs for tender and construction and provide expertise for safety in design and constructability reviews and support our construction teams across multi-disciplinary power transmission projects from 33kV to 500kV.

ABOUT YOU

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering as recognized by IEAust
• Demonstrated 5 yrs+ experience of design in the power sector and knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
• Proficiency using engineering design software PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE and PLS-Tower is essential, and working knowledge of AutoCAD will be highly regarded.
• Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (e.g. AS7000, AS4100 and AS1170) and the typical design standards and expectations of Australian TNSPs
• Ability to work within teams to carry out analysis, design and provide construction stage support
• Proficiency in the use of engineering design software PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE and PLS-Tower
