Reporting to the Condition Monitoring Supervisor, the Condition Monitoring Analyst is responsible for analysing aggregated condition monitoring data and making appropriate repair or operational recommendations across Caterpillar, CAT powered and Mixed fleets for WesTrac CVA customers within the Western Australian region, promoting efficiency and effectiveness of fleet management.

The Condition Monitoring Analyst will provide customer detailed reports and recommendations based on product health, condition monitoring and technical information to improve subsequent maintenance decisions, in order to increase fleet reliability, reduce overall customer operating costs and minimise unscheduled downtime of fleet equipment through preventative maintenance.

The Condition Monitoring Analyst is key to ensuring the customer extracts the maximum value from their investment by extending the useful life of components being monitored.

Location: South Guildford.

Roster: Monday to Friday, Permanent Full Time.

To be successful the following is required:
  • Suitable Trade qualification (e.g. Diesel Fitting / Plant Mechanic) or similar, coupled with post trade experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in condition-based maintenance practices and prognostics.
  • A sound understanding of Oil Analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously.
  • Highly developed attention to detail with the ability to analyse condition monitoring information and provide accurate reported recommendations.
