About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor (Structural Mechanical Piping), to join our clients team working FIFO from Perth on an 2:1 roster at Sino Iron - a world class, large-scale magnetite iron ore project, located at Cape Preston, 100km south west of Karratha in Western Australia. You will be expected to provide leadership and development to a core group of personnel including apprentices for the execution of mechanical works of the project.

Skills and Experience
  • Relevant Mechanical Trade Background
  • Australian Recognised Trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting or Fabrication Boilermaker/Pipe Fitter
  • Section 44 Appointed Persons training
  • Experience in working with multiple discipline projects
  • Experience in heavy industry / fixed plant ore processing preferred
  • Previous demonstrated experience as a leading hand or supervisor
  • Strong knowledge of PIDs and piping (Highly Desirable)
  • Experience on working on HPGR, Screens and Conveyors
  • Exposure to estimating and scheduling task
  • Exposure to completing all QA/QC documentation throughout a project
  • Proficient in MS office suit
  • Excellent communication & time management skills
  • Current C Class Drivers licence
  • Australian Working Rights
