About the Client:
Our client specialises in the manufacturing and productions of various reinforce steel pipes/beams products for their customers in the Building & Construction Industries.

About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking a couple of Precast Labourers to assist our client in their busy workshop/yard located out in Kilmore and Melton , VIC.

Start Date: ASAP
Day shift: 7am to 5pm (Mon to Fri)
Pay rate: $32.50 per hour plus overtime penalties and super
This role would be suitable for people who have experience working in a precast or concrete yard. It is also suitable for fit and healthy general labourers who can carry out repetitive heavy lifting (20kgs) and can work on their feet for long hours.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Tying steel and securing reinforcement bars for precast beams, columns, pipes and other structures
  
• Using various hand and power tools like grinders, cutters etc.
  
• Cutting various steel bars to shapes/sizes/dimensions as per client orders
  
• Assist with all mould set ups, pouring concrete and screening
  
• Working in a fast-paced production environment safely
  
• Carry out all general labouring duties as instructed by our client
  
• Adhering to all safety protocols and COVID regulations on site
  

Skills/Experience:

• Physically fit to carry out the duties listed
  
• Forklift ticket (nice to have)
  
• Experienced with working in a fast-paced production environment (ideal)
  
• Can pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test
  
• Double vaccinated against COVID-19/Valid Medical Exemption Letter
  
• Be reliable
  
• Have your own car to get to work
  
• Have full working rights in Australia - this position has full time work hours
