THE OPPORTUNITY

Downer's Melbourne Water Safety Focused Performance Joint Venture are seeking to appoint a Scheduler in a full-time capacity based at our JV Head Office on Adderley Street, West Melbourne.

Reporting to the Construction Manager and with immense support from the Project Planner, the Scheduler will utilise their scheduling expertise to successfully plan and control the program schedule This role is diverse and will work across a broad range of projects among a strong and stable joint venture.

Some key responsibilities include:
  • Review and audit project schedules from Melbourne Water and Sub Contractors.
  • Identify program slippages and assess delays for impact of project objectives.
  • Participate in site visits and planning meetings where required and liaise with various stakeholders to ensure solid planning, allocation of resources & scheduling practices.
  • Assist in achieving project objectives by balancing logistic realities with the needs, constraints and limitations of resources.
  • Advise and communicate with project team of any program changes.

ABOUT YOU
  • Previous experience in planning/ scheduling (Water experience highly advantageous but not essential).
  • Working knowledge of Primavera (P6).
  • Intermediate/Advanced Level Microsoft Project or equivalent software.
  • Team player with the ability to promote a positive culture!
