ABOUT OUR OPERATION:

Agnico Eagle is always looking for new talented team members to join our Nunavut mining operations. We have been operating Meadowbank, our first Low Arctic mine, near Baker Lake for over nine years. The mine produced its three millionth ounce of gold in 2018. 2019 is anticipated to be the last year of the Meadowbank mine production, and we are now transitioning to processing ore from the satellite deposit Amaruq. The mining, processing and infrastructure at the Meadowbank mine site and the mining and infrastructure at the Amaruq site are together referred to as the Meadowbank Complex.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

• Responsible for assisting the operation and/or the maintenance team in the Process Plant;
• Assist in maintaining tools and providing for a clean and safe work environment;
• Achieve tasks related to grinding;
• Assist grinding operators and process operators in the accomplishment of the daily work;
• Verify equipment, clean and lubricate parts;
• Report all incidents or accidents to his supervisor;
• Provide quality work within established deadlines;
• Perform other duties as required within the limits set by company safety-health and environment policies and regulations.
