Reporting to the Technology Onboarding Supervisor, the MCG Technician is responsible for the installation, and ongoing support of the Technology range of systems on Caterpillar Equipment and Light Vehicles.

You will be providing high levels of customer service for both internal and external clients, enabling WesTrac to achieve customer satisfaction goals, overall relationship development and dealership growth. In addition, assisting with calibration and commissioning of technology systems, creating and updating documentation and providing technical and field support to site operations. Successful applicant would suit having an interest or background in light vehicles, trades assistant and or auto electrical work.

Location: This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in our Perth Metro workshops or regional locations

Roster: Flexible FIFO 8:6, 4:3 – Dayshift only!

To be successful the following is required:

• Light Vehicle or Trades Assistant background desirable
• Confidence to provide standards-based quality workmanship across hardware, electrical and mechanical works
• Ability to learn new skills and apply them with an enthusiastic approach
• Skills to complete technical and administrative documentation to a high standard
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
• Be able to work autonomously and within a team environment
