About The Role

With an increased demand for experienced Field Service Plant Mechanics, WesTrac are looking for a superstar to join the team! Utilising your product knowledge, this role will require you to have excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to offer OEM support to our customers with service and breakdown solutions on an array of mine sites.

These roles require a high level of autonomy and an ability to problem solve. A Field Service position with WesTrac will challenge you whilst giving you exposure to a large range of Caterpillar Machines and the opportunity to provide high level support to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer equipment
  • Diagnosing and reporting for preventative maintenance
  • Autonomously providing solutions, service and satisfaction to our customers

Roster & Remuneration
  • Lifestyle Roster
  • 12 Hour Shifts + 30 minute unpaid meal break
  • Day shift: 6:30AM - 7:00PM
  • Night shift: 6:30PM - 7:00AM
  • Minimum hourly rates from $60.80
  • Minimum overtime rates from $91.20

What We’re Looking For
  • CERT III Mobile Plant Qualification (including Certificate of Proficiency)
  • Several years post-trade experience in a similar role
  • Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills and a strong commitment to service excellence
  • Excellent attitude to your work, and dedication to safe work practices
  • Applicants with site bans are ineligible for Field Service Positions
