Role Summary

We are now seeking a Principal Technical Assurance Advisor to support our national Transport Advisory team. This presents an excellent opportunity to join a team with a strong and respected delivery track record, with multi-year engagements supporting major Australian rail projects.

Key responsibilities of the Principal Technical Assurance Advisor includes:
  • Develop new processes, define processing or handling requirements, compile/evaluate test data.
  • Make recommendations and implement improvements. Review requirements for compatibility with processing methods.
  • Develops/modifies processes, methods, and controls to meet quality standards.
  • Conducts feasibility studies and recommends process improvements. May provide data mining, reporting, and support to technical network programs and initiatives for network data standards and integrity.
  • Analyse, track, and publish methods and procedures. Analyse data to identify root cause of network problems.
  • May provide process improvement training.
  • Provide technical support on process and compliance. Responsible for analysis, design, development, and documentation of network quality/process improvements.
  • Aligns improvement to network performance shortfalls. Provides consultation on reengineering techniques to improve network process performance and product quality.
  • Develops network methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for results. Analyzes, tracks and publishes

Desired Skills, Experience and Capabilities
  • BS degree in Math, Science or Engineering preferred
  • Typically requires 8+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships.
  • Ability to provide leadership within the business, including leading and developing others.
