Job Details
We are currently seeking applications from motivated individuals to fill the below positions:
- Underground Paste Crew - Construction Crew - Concreting - Boilermakers
The roles are available as full-time permanent on 7/7 roster, 12.5hrs Dayshift/Nightshift. Fly-in/Fly-out from Townsville, Cairns or Brisbane or Drive-in/Drive-out from the Mount Isa.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Welding, oxy cutting and general steel fabrication. Installation of paste reticulation and structures to support paste diverter
- Construction of vent walls & underground storage areas
- Installation of general services to provide air, water, power & vent to work sites
- Operation of rock drill air legs for construction type bolting
About you
The ideal candidate will need to have the following:
- Must have the right to work in Australia;
- Underground experience not essential for these roles however a trade qualification or background in construction, concreting or welding is required;
- Comply with health, safety, environment and risk standards, procedures and routines;
- A commitment to a positive safety culture.
