Reporting to the Lead, Maintenance Training, the Training Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of training at Line Creek Operations.

To be successful, we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal, communication and team management skills, who has a passion for contributing to other people’s personal and professional growth. We require someone with the ability to schedule training and keep accurate records of all training events. Lastly, this role requires someone with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt and prioritize contending demands in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Provide and source training which includes job based, and developmental instruction using materials that have been created internally and externally
  • Deliver comprehensive training based on safe work practices and training requirements
  • Provide direction to management and collaborate with multiple departments to determine, prepare, and develop training needs and priorities, assess training programs, and develop training courses, plans, and solutions
  • Deliver lectures, presentations, and new hire orientations
  • Conduct operator focused training on Forklift, Aerial and Scissor lifts, and Overhead Cranes
  • Conduct Safety training on confined space, fall arrest, rigging, and hazardous energy isolation


Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial environment in either training or a safety focused role with a broad scope of experience
  • Strong experience in Project Management and Change Management
  • Excellent digital literacy and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite®; Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
