About the Client.
Specialising in the manufacturing, servicing and distribution of mining and construction equipment, our client is looking to add a Labourer with a forklift licence to their team in a permanent position.
What you will be doing.
Based in Wacol you will be working Monday to Friday with a 7am start and you will be assisting the tradesmen with their daily tasks such as sandblasting and general warehousing duties.
The duties and responsibilities of this position include:

• Supporting Service Technicians with day-to-day duties
  
• Disassembly and cleaning of mechanical parts and tools
  
• Forklift operations to load and unload trucks
  
• Manual handling and stock control
  
• Pick packing, receipt and despatch of parts and orders
  
• General caretaking and cleaning activities to ensure warehouse is kept clean and well presented
  
• Ability to work as part of a close-knit team
  
• Attention to detail and self-motivated
  

To be successful in securing this opportunity, you will have the below skills and experience:

• Forklift Ticket
  
• Proven experience in labouring / trades assistant duties
  
• Current drivers licence
  
• Experience in warehouse/workshop environment
  
• Must have a hands-on mechanical mindset and able to assist with using tools and machines when required
