As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
Within the Shared Services group, Hatch is looking to engage a Finance Analyst to assist the preparation of JV accounts, Management accounts and reports for the Australia-Asia (AUA) region. The candidate will be a self-starter with critical thinking and the ability to work autonomously. Ability to understand databases and apply strong excel skills is essential. Ideal candidate would be highly motivated, take ownership and aspire to become an integral part of the Finance team. The role will be based in Brisbane, Hatch's Australia Asia head office.
You will ultimately be responsible for providing accurate information for the preparation of the management reports on a monthly and ad hoc basis, and partake in financial system testing.

As the successful candidate, you will:
- Preparation of month-end reports
- Joint Venture accounting.
- Provide explanation on variances of KPIs at a project and or regional level.
- Liaise with stakeholders at all levels including team members, project managers, cost controllers, etc.
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Partake in financial system roll outs
- Lead & establish improvement processes
You bring to the role:
- Willing to learn the mechanics of our reporting system
- High proficiency with excel
- Experience with databases and large ERP will be highly regarded
- Ability to self-learn, problem solve and seek improvements
- SAP experience favourable
- CPA/CA qualification favorable
- Will consider graduates
- An attitude to take responsibility, receive instruction and constantly improve
- Superior oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with a can do attitude
