The purpose of Payroll Processing Officer is to support continuous improvement and provide management & support of payroll operations. You will be experienced in processing payroll, in a fast-paced and high-volume environment. The team needs a passionate, inquisitive individual that possess a unique blend of skills to understand payroll, business processes and impacts, and opportunities to benefit payroll operations.

Your duties will include:

• Manage and maintain employee and payroll set-up
• Run payroll in accordance with payroll cycle requirements, applicable employment agreements, and company policy and payroll legislation
• Assist with the resolution of payroll interpretation issues and queries
• Deliver final pays and special/ interim pay runs as required
• Generate payroll reports for both management and compliance purposes
• Provide monthly company reporting for all managers plus any other adhoc reports requested

Nga Pukenga Motuhake | Important Skills

• JDE/SAP or similar ERP as experienced user (3+ years)
• Finance/ or operational business experience (2+ years)
• Stakeholder management, dealing with external suppliers and key business stakeholders.
• Presenting and facilitating business workshops
• High volume data entry environment, preferred Share Services
• People/ Team Management, workload management
