Reporting to the Mining Business Manager, the Customer Support Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day product support and parts and services sales activities with a major customer account. You will be the point of contact to our customer Perth based teams for B2B parts and Perth based services and will be required to deliver ongoing advice and management of the customer orders and activities.

As well as assisting the customer, you will also be required to deliver on parts and service sales growth including negotiating and executing sales strategies.

This is a full-time position, based in Guildford 5 days on and 2 days off.

To be successful the following is required:
  • Previous experience within a Parts and Repairables role, ideally within the mining industry is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
  • High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data, compile reports and follow through with required actions
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Sound communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders as well as the ability to conduct presentations
  • Demonstrated mine site or construction operational experience with an understanding of mining equipment operations
  • Issue and risk mitigation, strong negotiating skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
  • Experience working with Caterpillar products highly desirable
