About our Client
Rio Tinto operates the world's largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.
About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking expressions of interest for experienced and reliable planners for a variety of positions across Perth & the Pilbara for our client Rio Tinto.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to optimise asset reliability, availability and maintainability
  • Coach maintenance leaders and team members to improve their asset management acumen
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are planned and executed in line with Work Management and Shut Management Processes
  • Plan approved wok orders and tasks, to ensure zero harm
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure efficient use of available resources and equipment
  • Review weekly maintenance performance (KPIs) and develop action plans to achieve targets and make improvements
  • Review and maintain the CMMS (SAP) to ensure data collection to assist with maintenance reporting requirements
  • Minimise costs through efficient planning of labour, resources and services.

Skills and Experience Required:
  • Significant experience in a maintenance capacity, with experience in a planning role
  • Strong understanding of production and maintenance strategies
  • Proven commitment to safety and zero harm;
  • Team oriented and ability to work with others to achieve goals
  • Good verbal, written and computer skills
  • Sound problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Knowledge and experience in computer maintenance management systems (e.g SAP)
  • Rights to Work in Australia
  • Drivers Licence - WA C Class Manual
