This Program provides you the opportunity of hands-on experience in operations across the region while learning all aspects of our business. Key Targets of the Role
- The successful candidate will be immersed in a 24-month program designed to provide exposure, training, and hands-on experience in all aspects of the aggregates and concrete business including production, sales, maintenance, supervision, quality control and logistics.
What You'll Get to Do
- Participate fully and actively in all assigned development activities.
- Apply knowledge and work collaboratively on various team projects related to training and development.
- Support the aggregate and concrete division in achieving production goals through partnering with experienced professionals and managers in different departments (safety, operations, human resources, environment, maintenance, quality control)
- Participate in daily and weekly production and maintenance meetings.
- Learn basic supervisory skills by working side by side with experienced supervisors.
- Responsible for reporting and tracking key performance indicators
- Post-secondary education with solid academic achievement
- Post-secondary education in Mining, Geology or Engineering or similar disciplines may be considered
- Must have a strong desire to work in a mining and industrial environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to be a self-starter and take initiative
- Ability to adapt to change and respond well under pressure
- Solid interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ideal candidate will have a strong desire to move into progressively more responsible roles and can relocate if required
- Prior manufacturing or mining experience is a plus.
- $76,300 - $114,500 annual salary

Conditions of Employment:
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Work Environment
- Role operates primarily a manufacturing environment where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
