Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50) located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. This newly constructed mine site is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years.

Role Details:

Reporting to the Lead: Commercial, you will provide support to the business in the key areas of information, communication and technology systems and management.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.

About the role:

• 
  Installing and maintaining operating systems, network and application software on desktops and other devices using corporate image builds;
  
• 
  Installing and maintaining computer hardware, including media drives, printers and peripheral devices on desktops and other devices;
  
• 
  Ensure minimal disruptions to productivity through the provision of a timely and effective assistance and advice service to clients accessing the support function;
  
• 
  Receiving and responding to help desk telephone and email requests for assistance; Investigating and resolving hardware and software faults;
  
• 
  Tracking the progress of requests and liaising with clients as necessary.
  

About you:

• 
  Diploma level qualifications in IT support (or equivalent)
  
• 
  Proven operational experience in desktop computer support
  
• 
  Experience with Windows Server and Cisco network environments would be beneficial
  
• 
  Exposure to remote, site-based role in the resources industry would be highly regarded
