Downer Rail and Transit Systems (RTS) is looking for a Fleet Shift Maintenance Planner to be a key member of the Auburn Maintenance Team.

Reporting directly to the Lead Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for the maintenance planning of all fleets managed by the Integrated Operations Centre. Using the most efficient, safe and cost-effective delivery methods, you will be accountable for the creation, communication and reporting of all maintenance tasks and related strategies in line with business requirements.

This is a fulltime permanent role, and you will be based on site at our maintenance depot in Auburn, NSW.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in planning rail rollingstock maintenance or similar heavy industry equipment maintenance.
• Must be able to work 24/7 rotating roster, consisting of day, afternoon and night shifts.
• Strong numeracy, organisation and analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of project planning philosophies and techniques.
• Previous experience the use of Primavera6 and MS Excel software
• A commitment to safety and Zero Harm principles
• Skilled in stakeholder management and communication
• The ability to work autonomously or within a team, and encourage the development of others
