OUR ROLE

TOMRA's sensor-based solutions play a key role in optimizing resource productivity, particularly in the fields of waste management and recycling, where sensor-based technology can be used to increase precision and streamline processes.

To achieve the ambitious aim of a circular economy, it is necessary to employ state-of-the-art approaches that push boundaries, and TOMRA's reverse vending and waste sorting solutions help to achieve this by recovering materials and providing valuable insight into the composition of these materials.

The result is a greater understanding of where efficiencies can be made to minimize costs and waste, and better utilize resources within a closed loop - further mitigating the impact of CO2 and other emissions and inefficiencies.

Job Description

The Operations Controller will provide permanent follow-up and forward-looking analysis of all operations activities and will monitor progress made to achieve the budget targets, on a corporate level and on a regional/local level. The Operations Controller maintains good contacts with all department and team leaders and operations middle + upper management.

The position is a member of the TRM Finance Leadership Team.
  • Organizes a clear and efficient follow-up of all operations activities (production, supply chain & logistics)
  • Works closely together with all operations teams globally
  • Informs middle and top management about the operations process through clear and to-the-point reporting, dashboards, and financial analysis
  • Pro-actively addresses all items that impact the achievement of the budget
  • Follow up, review and challenge improvement areas and risks.
  • Drive planning, budget and forecasting processes
  • Support in strategic business analysis


Qualifications
  • University degree in business administration with focus on finance/controlling or similar through experience
  • 2+ years' experience in Operations Finance Controlling
  • Thorough knowledge of business analytics
  • Pragmatic but business, solution and result oriented
  • Structured and analytical
  • Bilingual with strong command of English
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • General Microsoft office packages,
  • ERP experience (preferably IFS)
  • IFRS knowledge
