Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Parts Interpreter will be accountable for receiving and processing customer orders for Caterpillar parts and managing general enquiries via phone and email while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of processing for continued customer loyalty and the utilisation of WesTrac as a preferred supplier of Caterpillar parts.

You will possess the ability to interact with our customers and deliver a high level of customer service by responding promptly to our customer inquiries and resolving customer requirements, issues, or complaints. You will have the ability to interpret technical parts enquiries utilising expert technical and Caterpillar/Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) systems knowledge as well as working in collaboration with your branch colleagues to ensure a great customer experience.

Location: Perth based in South Guildford, however you have the opportunity for site visits and providing leave coverage to our Kalgoorlie and Port Hedland Branches.

Roster: 5:2 Monday to Friday 48.75 hour/week (your roster will include working on public holidays)

About You:
  • Previous experience within a similar customer service role
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and resolve problems
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • High level attention to detail with demonstrated data entry experience
  • Excellent communication skills
