Please note: This position has the possibility to work remotely up to 100% of the time. The position will require occasional travel to the Phoenix corporate offices and/or site locations . This position may be performed anywhere in the U.S. except California, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky and New York. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the positions shift to in-office work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time should the position meet the established eligibility for these benefits.

Description

Support the administration of benefit plans and company programs through reconciliation and preparation for payments, reimbursements and collections. Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers while demonstrating the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.

  • Work with multiple systems to retrieve data for reconciliation and payment preparation
  • Develop, implement and maintain various tools (e.g. Excel, SharePoint content, etc.) and processes to analyze and reconcile invoices and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate with Vendors (e.g., United Healthcare, Northern Trust), Accounting, Treasury and employees to establish and support processes in a timely and accurate manner; follow-up to ensure completion and to resolve discrepancies
  • Responsible for providing second level support on various company policies and programs while ensuring compliance, reconciliation, reimbursement and collection of monies
  • Provide accurate and timely back-up support for Employment and Wage Verification as needed
  • Coach leadership teams with vendor payment activities within HR, including educating others on Accounts Payable procedures
  • Perform other duties as requested


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Six (6) years of experience in Benefits Administration or AP/Accounting, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business related field and two (2) years of experience in Benefits Administration or AP/Accounting
  • Moderate to high level of aptitude in Microsoft Excel


Preferred

  • Experience workingin an HR Shared Services environment
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • Position is in a busy, non-smoking office located in Phoenix, AZ
  • Majority of work is in an office setting with floors accessible by elevator
  • Physical demands are consistent with standard office work, including ability to sit for several hours at a time
  • Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

Compensation:

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $25.00 - $34.50/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
