Role Details:

Reporting to the Senior Regional Planner, you will provide comprehensive shutdown maintenance planning for your department. You will work to ensure the timely achievement of operational targets and strategic projects. You will be responsible for ensuring a disciplined approach to work management is adhered to for managing Fixed Plant assets and equipment.

This role is site-based, FIFO, and offered on 8 days on and 6 days off roster permanent basis.

About the role:

  • Anticipating and eliminating potential delays through the planning and coordination of labour, parts, material, and equipment

  • Develop shutdown maintenance schedules and communicate effectively with operational and technical teams

  • Assist site stakeholders in managing their responsibilities, identifying work, scoping work, and resolving planning/scheduling-related issues

  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers for the provision of equipment, materials, and services

  • Manage conflicting priorities while maintaining key stakeholder interests and relationships.

  • Interact daily with stakeholders to interpret their needs and requirements, engaging with regional support teams to ensure the resolution of any issues.

  • Undertake shutdown post review, lessons learned, and shutdown close-out reporting

  • Liaise with Supervisors, Planners, and Planned Parts personnel to optimise future shutdowns

  • Review the effectiveness of planned maintenance activities


About you:

  • A Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate.

  • Current Driver's Licence

  • Experience in software applications, including SAP, AMT, and the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Project

  • Practical experience in processing plant equipment maintenance environment

  • Previous experience in planning and/or scheduling role

  • Strong understanding and adherence to work management practices

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills

  • The ability to work autonomously and prioritise conflicting workloads
