About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking a Site Manager to join our construction client based in Adelaide to manage a high rise construction project. As the Site Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the construction site, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are at the forefront of all activities. The position will lead, direct and manage assigned projects, while coordinating with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to complete construction projects on time and to budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the construction site, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Coordinate and manage project work to ensure adherence to plans and specifications
  • Establish and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Site Planning and Scheduler
  • Coordinating Materials
  • Coordination and Supervision of construction staff
  • Ensure the work of the general contractor and subcontractors is satisfactory, on-schedule and within budget
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government building codes, regulations and safety standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections and documentation of the construction process
  • Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure timely and on-budget completion of projects
  • Supervise project teams to ensure productivity and progress is managed efficiently
Skills and Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in high rise construction management or related field
  • In-depth understanding of building codes and regulations
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Familiarity with project management software tools (i.e, Microsoft projects, Primavera etc.)
  • Degree in Civil, Structural or Construction Management or equivalent certification
