ABOUT THE ROLE:

Due to our ongoing expansion, we are now seeking an experienced, motivated Maintenance Engineer/ Coordinator Lead to join our highly regarded and progressive Rail Signalling team. The position will be based at our Pakenham East Depot (south-east Melbourne). You will oversee the organisation and direction of the workforce to perform Rail Signalling, Electrical and Track maintenance projects.

Role requirements:

• Compile and report against measurements illustrating the areas performance.
• Interface and ensure delivery from other departments to maintain a streamline of the maintenance facility.
• Provide supervision, direction and training to maintenance employees, manage staff resourcing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S policies and accident reporting is done promptly and completely.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Build and maintain product and process knowledge
• Provide estimator support, schedule and distribute quotes; and maintain up-to-date records and databases including accurate pricing

ABOUT YOU:

• Proven experience in a Maintenance Engineering/ Coordinator role or similar
• Tertiary qualification in engineering, maintenance management or related work experience
• Ideally have processing plant knowledge and associated equipment knowledge
• Demonstrated experience in fault-finding and problem solving
• Able to work a rotating/on call roster including weekends
• Experience with developing and following maintenance schedules
• Previous experience in electrical / electronic systems or project engineering is an advantage
• Current Australian Driver's license
