About the Role

Reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will assist the Engineering Manager/Lead Electrical Engineer with the delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule; witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and assist the Lead Electrical Engineer to measure, on a monthly basis, the progress of the engineering work packages to ensure that project budgets and schedules are being met. This includes the supporting the Lead Electrical Engineer to implement corrective action as required.

About You

To be considered for this role you will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• BSc/B.Eng degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registration as a professional engineer or actively working towards professional registration
• Minimum five years project engineering experience
• Experience in electrical design/consultancy ideally within a similar large engineering or multi-disciplinary project environment
• Ability to delegate tasks and effectively supervise others
• Experience in the use of procedures and workflows in the execution of projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid planning and organizational skills
• Sound understanding of design engineering codes and technical standards and an awareness of HSEC policy and standards
