About the Role

Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vendor/ Training Coordinator to join our team for a project-based opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Vendor interface for the project.
This position will work in closely with the Project Leads, Area Managers, Construction, Contract and Commissioning Teams to achieve successful utilization of Vendor Representatives. Key accountabilities for this role include development of work processes for the full life cycle of a Vendor Representative, including planning, contracting, site coordination, reporting and contract close-out; coordination of the mobilisation of Vendor Representatives to site as per the Vendor Representative plan and ensuring compliance with Site safety requirements.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to establishing a reporting system for Vendor Representatives to provide daily/weekly reports; developing and maintaining an essential training matrix and record keeping for commissioning personnel; liaising with client training personnel to book and deliver Vendor training to client operations personnel and, working closely with Operations to coordinate the delivery of these Vendor Training sessions.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational and management skills, since clear and formal communications must be established with several diverse project groups. You will also possess the following essential skills and experience:

• Minimum five (5) years' experience on major projects in a multidisciplinary team
• environment.
• Extensive experience in the use of procedures and workflow in the execution of projects.
• Good working knowledge of scheduling and reporting processes used for the project.
• Good understanding of interdisciplinary dependencies in a project environment.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
• Well-developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Training background, preferably Cert IV of similar (Desirable)
• Proven ability to develop and maintain an essential training matrix and record keeping for commissioning personnel.
