As Assistant Contract Manager you will be responsible to plan and direct operations to achieve above requirements, build client relations and maintain all Safety, Environmental and Quality assurance systems.

About you
You'll bring a high level communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to influence with demonstrated leadership behaviours that empower others. Plus you'll have the ability to think outside the box and innovate, enabling improvement to the service to mutual benefit of all stakeholders.

In your tool box you will also have:
  • A tertiary engineering qualification with a minimum of five years' working experience in project management/engineering experience in asphalt and or sealing operations.
  • Ability to interrogate SOR / Contract documents and utilize to the benefit of the contracts.
  • Experience in managing long term and short term contracts, working within and meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding of financial and accounting processes, to include preparation of progress and claim reports and producing and interpreting monthly financial reports to P&L level.
  • Previous experience in compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.

Beside the above you will have the ability to work autonomously with excellent Computer literacy and previous use of estimating and data collection software.
