  About the Role:
  WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Group Support Officer to join the Whitehaven team in their Health, Safety and Training Department. This role will work a Monday to Friday roster based in their Gunnedah Office/ Training Centre and will be accountable for coordinating and enhancing Health, Safety and Training system processes to support Whitehaven Coal Operations.

  Duties and Responsibilities:
  
• Assist the Group HST team in the development and implementation of HST initiatives and programs by providing administrative support
  
• Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive HST management systems
  
• Respond to requests training assistance and schedule training events.
  
• Organise external training courses as required
  
• Maintain an up-to-date training calendar and manage attendance processes and reminders
  
• Track training course attendance by employees
  
• Assist in quality review processes of training providers by distributing and collating feedback forms/processes
  
• Assist in the managing the WHC induction program by providing administrative support to the Group Training team
  
• Assist in the maintaining and improving the competency library in the training database/ system
  
• Maintain an up-to-date health assessment database / system to ensure compliance to Order 43
  
• Assist operations in Order 43 chest x-ray compliance
  
• Assist operations scheduling periodic health assessments
  
• Assist operations in managing early reviews identified from health assessments
  
• Assist internal and external stakeholders with general Health, Safety and Training compliance queries
  
• Assist in the planning and execution of the WHC Contractor and Safehaven forums
  About You:
  
• Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent or willingness to achieve qualification
  
• High level interpersonal skills
  
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  
• Self-motivated, demonstrated initiative and a commitment to meeting deadlines
  
• Ability to work under pressure and excellent organisational skills
  
• Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  
• Experience with applications such as PowerBi and Pegasus would be advantageous
  
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
  
• Full Working Rights in Australia
