WHAT DOES AGNICO EAGLE VALUE?

Please note that this employment opportunity is for the Contractor CMAC

• Attend a 42-day training (3 rotations) program at Meadowbank Complex (Amaruq) mine site;
• Attend all of the training classes and the on-field related to the Underground Trainee program;
• During the training program, you will get the following training :

• Underground Common Core modules
• Operate the Boom Truck;
• Operate the Lube Truck;
• Learn the General Labour position duties;

• Those who successfully complete the program will be hired as full-time Underground General Labour for the Contractor CMAC.

ABOUT OUR OPERATION:

• High School Diploma;
• Must pass a pre-employment medical exam and be deemed fit to work underground;
• Must obtain approval to work underground from the Canadian Explosives Regulatory Division;
• Underground certification or equivalent such as Mining Modules and Common Core is an asset;
• Possess the physical requirements to perform the job;
• Possess strong work ethics, a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team;
• Experience working in a multicultural environment;
• Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written);
