The successful candidate will:

  • Report to the Procurement and Contracts Manager on Mining and Resource projects
  • Prepare and issue and manage invitation to tender documents
  • Complete commercial evaluation of submitted Tenders, including liaison with engineering and other project representatives
  • Develop of recommendation to award and contract documents
  • Post award management of awarded contracts, including expediting, logistics co-ordination, correspondence control, evaluation of contractor payments, evaluation of variation requests etc.
  • Assist the Procurement and Contract team with reporting and document management

You bring to the role:

  • A relevant business or commercial degree or equivalent experience
  • An energy and enthusiasm for working in Project teams focused on delivering high quality procurement services and value to our clients
  • Willingness to learn and develop your skills as a Procurement Officer
  • Experience in procurement or contracts administration preferably within an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) environment
  • Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
  • High degree of computer literacy and willingness to adopt new digital tools
