Reporting to the Mine Operations Manager, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Mine Operations Team.

MAGINO MINE:

The Magino Project is currently in pre-production with key construction milestones achieved. The first gold pour is scheduled in Q2 2023. Located in northern Ontario, Canada, 88 kms northeast of Wawa and approximately 14 kms southeast of the town of Dubreuilville, this site contains a historical underground gold mine, and tailings management facility ("TMF"). Argonaut Gold conducted a Feasibility Study in 2017 that examined mining the deposit using conventional open pit mining methods and extraction of gold from the ore using a 10,000 tonnes per day carbon-in-pulp ("CIP") mineral processing facility. Once commissioning has been completed, the Magino mine will produce approximately 150,000 ounces of gold per year during the first five years of production. The project has over a 15-year mine production life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Track and report Mine Production and maintain various databases.

• Assist with basic payroll activities, time sheets and vacation requests.

• Assist with training system records.

• Assist with completion of Expense Reports.

• Assist with purchase requisitions and SAP maintenance requirements.

• Ability to learn and train others in SAP.

• Ability to extract SAP data for KPI monitoring.

• Organize and maintain filing systems.

• Ensure current and accurate filing of all legislative documentation.

• Manage the entrance of personnel and visitors to the mine office.

• Maintain adequate office supplies, order what is needed.

• Maintain mine roster information & rotations with up-to-date information.

• Maintain and populate all notices and safety boards in the mine office with current required information.

• Manage all office and vehicle keys as required.

• Maintain confidentiality with respect to employee and business information.

• Any additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary education in Office Administration.

• Class G Driver’s License (Required).

• 3 years of relevant administrative experience preferably in a mining & maintenance environment.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong ability to learn new technology. Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Good work ethic and a strong attitude towards safety are essential requirements.

• Can work autonomously on specific tasks to meet deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively independently or in a team environment.

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the operation.

• Ability to adapt and work with diverse cultures.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• The role is located at the Magino Mine, which is approximately 88 kilometers northeast of Wawa, Ontario, Canada.

• The ideal candidate for the role will work a rotation of 4 days on / 3 days off (10 hour days).
