Job description:
General Role Purpose (brief description of this job)
The administrator provides administrative support to the Mining Training Support department, ensuring the availability of all the resources required for the training delivery, tracking, reporting and executes routine administrative functions.
Qualifications (required for job) & Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor's degree on administration or related field required. (Desirable)
- Prior related office experience preferred.
- Preferable experience in the use of ERP systems (JD Edwards or similar).
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Core Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables
- Ensures the availability of the resources for training such as: rooms, equipment, training material, etc.
- Create and raise purchase and service orders, following up and recording the process
- Coordinates site entry of external training providers and visitors.
- Maintains and operates office machines, equipment, and computers.
- Maintains inventory of office supplies and safety equipment.
- Collect and manage training information generated by trainers
- Manage and update the LMS (Learning Management System) platform
- Communicate the training schedule and register the participants
- Consolidates information and prepares training reports
- Records section expenses related to OPEX and CAPEX and submit reports
- Interacts with other administrative sections within the company to obtain the necessary training resources
- Any other duties assigned.

- Comply with current environmental regulations in Panama
- Comply with the commitments contained in the Environmental Impact Studies and other additional studies in this regard, which apply to your area and activities.
- Comply with the provisions of the Minera Panama Environmental Management System.
