Purpose

This position will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for leading the management of contracts associated with the different projects that will integrate the portfolio. You will establish close relationships and communication with the supply area and project managers. This position will support the projects in their different phases.

Responsibilities:

• Manages one or more subcontracts ensuring that subcontractors fully comply with company and project requirements. Extensive experience is required, especially in subcontracting activities typical of the environmental/engineering and construction sector, and the ability to negotiate subcontracts effectively. Willingness to travel to subcontractor's facilities when necessary and computer literacy is required.
• Identify, solicit, and select reliable contractors to provide consulting, specialist, and construction services to support project implementation.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, prepare contracts, and monitor contractor performance and service delivery to meet objectives.
• Provide agreed approvals and supporting documentation for payment of invoices to secure required services to Worley and its clients.
• Plans and leads and supervises project teams. May participate in cross-functional collaboration.

What will you bring?

At least 12 years experience in contract management for the mining industry ideally in the project portfolio.

Education:

Administration professionals, lawyers in commercial law, or related to the position.
Advanced English (mandatory)

Location: Mexico City or the city of Torreon, Mexico.
