The Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Full time Chef at the Alfred Hospital with hours spread across Monday - Sunday.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Food preparation, including hot meals for up to 320 patients.
• Manage food production; controlling stock levels and quantities prepared.
• Quality control checks
• General kitchen cleaning duties

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• A passion for quality food and customer service
• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Previous experience with high volume bulk cooking
• Previous experience in fast paced commercial kitchens
• Understanding of OH&S and HACAP food safety practices
• An ability to work as part of a great team
• Have excellent attention to detail
