Summary

The role requires a broad range of IT skills including desktop, applications and telephone/network support within a Windows 7 environment. It is a customer facing role which requires excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

General Responsibilities

To comply with existing HSE requirements to promote a safe working environment
Provide regular updates to the Service Delivery Coordinator or when requested from Team leads.
Attend regular team meetings and monthly/weekly review meetings.
Compliance with FLUOR systems and processes e.g. asset management
Specific Responsibilities

Installation, maintenance, and support of user systems.
Deliver an efficient Deskside Service to the business on a day-to-day basis.
Proactive participation in the resolution of Information Technology (IT) Support issues.
Provide support to applications, desktop, telephony and communications.
Ability to diagnose research and troubleshoot problems.
Provide support of desktop and laptop hardware, and associated printers and peripherals as required.
Assist with special projects as required.
Ensure compliance of IT processes and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and abilities

Qualifications

Required:

Experience in a similar role.
Desirable:

Experience in the Engineering and Construction Industry.
ITIL Certification
Experience working with an outsourcing partner
Skills

Enthusiasm and positive approach essential
Excellent communication skills with a proven customer focused approach
The ability to work within a team environment or autonomously as required.
The ability to function effectively in a demanding work environment
Awareness of safety in the workplace, particularly with respect to information technology services
Ability to network effectively within a distributed team
Awareness of data protection and privacy issues relevant to the location
Ability to prioritise workload
Flexibility when required
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Relevant industry experience as per requirement
Excellent time management skills
