The Business Services Centre (BSC) contributes to Downer's success by delivering scalable finance-related services, leveraging the capability of our people, technology and standardised processes. We are looking for a Payroll Systems Analyst to join our team on a full time, permanent basis based our St Kilda Road VIC office.

Services provided by the BSC to Downer Group include payroll, purchase to pay, accounts receivable, and travel and expense management. The delivery of these services is enabled by the combined efforts of BSC's solution advisory, solution training and systems accounting teams, together with change management, finance and human resources specialists.

The BSC payroll function has over 105 staff operating out of North Ryde NSW and Melbourne Vic. The BSC pays over 50,000 employees using SAP and Oracle Express HR. There are over 200 EBAs.

About the role

Your role will be to support the maintenance and delivery of high quality, robust, and effective changes within our payroll systems and to our business stakeholders. You will proactively work with the EBA Build and Test teams to learn how to apply your payroll knowledge in supporting the configuration, co-ordinate and deliver EBA and other configuration changes to the Payroll Operations team.

Who you are

• Payroll systems and Payroll process knowledge and experience essential.
• Experience with SAP Payroll is essential.
• Advanced MS Excel (Essential)
• A minimum of 2 years payroll administration experience
• 2+ years of end-to-end payroll experience working with a large payroll department
• Sound Payroll knowledge and experience
• Process standardisation and improvement
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Collaboration skills.
