Description

Semi-skilled employees who operate at least one piece of heavy equipment such as haul trucks, water trucks, and rubber-tired dozers. Employees will work under minimal supervision in environments where the primary objective is safe production.

• Operate heavy equipment
• Communicate via 2-way radio and computerized dispatching system
• Assist in mine support activities as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Mobile equipment operations experience
  
• At least six (6) months in trade
  

Preferred

• High School diploma or GED
• 3 years operating experience any combination of the following equipment: D11T or D10 dozers, 950G, 950H, 966F, and/or 988G loaders, 140, 160M, 16H blades, and/or 345C, 365C, 374D, 374F excavators

  Occasionally may be required to lift up to fifty (50) pounds during the course of the work day

  May be required to work rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation

  Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

Compensation:

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $21.55 - 26.10/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
