Your Role:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager (Working Capital), this role will be placed in our Group Corporate team which oversees the consolidation of business groups. This role will support the business with the management and reporting of working capital across Downer Group.

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for updating daily cash forecasts for Downer Business Units.
• Daily monitoring and reconciliation of bank accounts to Business Unit cash forecasts, identification and resolution of issues.
• Running JD Edwards Global Solution (JDEGS) and Hubble reports to support actual and reforecast positions.
• Running intercompany loan reports to reconcile and validate cash actuals in SharePoint forecasts to OneStream.
• Assisting in management of aged debtors.
• Provide variance analysis of forecast and budget vs actuals to aid management decisions.
• Produce commentary to support analysis.
• Build and sustain effective working relationships with customers.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have or demonstrate

• 3+ years' experience in accounting, treasury or business analysis within a medium or large commercial firm or accounting practice.
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, and working towards or desire to commence CA / CPA qualification.
• Experience working with intercompany and large quantities of transactions.
• Experience with a large ERP - preference for JDEGS.
• Advanced MS Office Excel skills.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, self-motivated, takes initiative and accountability for deliverables and able to meet tight deadlines.
