As a Driver Operator for one of the largest infrastructure business' in New Zealand, you will be involved in exciting projects requiring you to pick up civil work, the operation of heavy machinery and preparation of sites.
About the job
Based out of Penrose, you will assist with a diverse range of construction projects across the region. You will operate machinery including excavators, rollers, loaders & trucks. You will adopt a key focus on 'Zero Harm', and will ensure all duties are completed in a safe and timely manner. You are also responsible for ensuring that all plant is presented, serviced, maintained and operated professionally.
This is a permanent, full time position, primarily working Monday - Friday however flexibility to undertake night, weekend and working away from home duties from time to time is required.

With some experience operating civil machinery under your belt, you will be confident operating within a team and independently as required. You will be comfortable using machinery and hand tools to get the job done. You'll also:

- Be reliable and hard working
- Have a positive 'can do' attitude
- Show commitment to safe worksite practises
- Have a Class 1 - 2 NZ Drivers licence
- Hold WTR endorsements (beneficial)
- Class 4 NZ Drivers licence (beneficial)
- Be flexible to undertake nights, weekend and working away from home duties from time to time as required
- STMS Level 2/3 desired
