We have an opportunity for Vinyl Floor Layers to join our team in Maryborough, QLD installing new and upgraded trains.

We have an opening in our team for a vinyl floor layer to work and live in the Fraser Coast Area with long term job security working on all associated flooring work within a large range of trains.

This role will include:

• Installing the final floorcoverings using a wide range of methods

• Installing all types of vinyl sheet and vinyl planks and carpets

• Proficient in safe usage of solvents, chemicals, and paints

• A comprehensive understanding and commitment to upholding a ZERO Harm environment

• Ability to understand detailed plans and specifications for the install

• Shift work and over time required

Previous experience:

• Must have trade qualification in floor laying

• Experience within rail and or transport desired but not necessary

• Measuring, marking and cutting floor pieces to plan

• Experience with hand, power tools and specialist equipment
