The Business Services Centre (BSC) contributes to Downer's success by delivering scalable finance-related services, leveraging the capability of our people, technology and standardised processes. We are looking for a Payroll Support Systems Coordinator to join our team on a permanent full time basis based in North Ryde NSW, St Kilda Road VIC or Milton QLD offices.

About the role

The HR/Payroll Systems Support Co Ordinator is a key member of the team and is responsible for supporting the HR/Payroll Systems team in administering and maintaining the IR/EA register on SharePoint, producing and distributing updates on EA build progress, attending IR meetings to establish EA Build pipelines, maintaining an updated IIA listing in Service Now and forecasting of rate increases across our Australian and New Zealand businesses from the IR/EA register.

Key responsibilites include but are not limited to:
  • All SharePoint administration for the IR/EA register including but not limited to;
    • Providing access to users
    • Reporting (planned and unplanned)
    • Update the function of the site based on the requirements of the business
    • Suggesting improvements and solutions for best process for the SharePoint site (all users)
  • Administering access to the SharePoint site where the IR/EA register is accessed and maintained and work with the IR team in seeking approval to allow access.
  • Delivering training and provide support to SharePoint site stakeholders on all matters regarding the IR/EA register.
  • Maintaining the IR/EA register, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate, including both Industrial Relations and Payroll details.
  • Maintaining the Industrial Instrument Agreement listing within Service Now.
  • Proactively works with each team within the HR/Payroll Systems team to gather and maintain up-to-date information on the status of each EA build progression. The Support Co-Ordinator is the owner of this action.
  • Maintaining and issuing the status report as appropriate to the various business stakeholders regarding each EA build in progress for the team; using MS Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Monitoring the "workflow" status of the EA build process.
  • Chair operational support and priorities meetings as required.
  • Creation of project close out reports.
What you bring
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or IT Project Management (Software applications).
  • Understanding the criticality of Industrial Agreements and Modern Awards
  • Experience in working in HR/Payroll Systems teams in a large corporate environment.
  • Experience in managing competing priorities and stakeholders.
  • Good time management skills
  • Stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the Downer Group.
  • MS Office applications, Advanced MS Excel, Basic Word, PowerPoint
