Under direction of the Health and Safety Manager, the HSA Auditor / Advisor, referred further as HSA will be responsible for implementation of the Inspection & Auditing Regime.

Responsibility is extended to completion of all incident investigations and monitoring of internal and external compliance to Contractual, Company and Statutory requirements.

You will be responsible for but not limited to;
  • The HSA will also ensure company policies and procedures are implemented by the internal staff and the Subcontractor base and will represent the Contract Team to resolve contractual issues that may occur from time to time with Kainga Ora.
  • The role will support and guide operations in the effective management of workplace safety to minimize risk and harm to all employees, client representatives, customers, subcontractors, and visitors.
  • The HSA will assist the FS HSE Manager with auditing of works in progress to check compliance with the Contract OSHE requirements and identify the areas of risk exposure.
  • Employees of Spotless are required to adhere to all company policies including Quality Assurance and Zero Harm policies.
  • All delivery is underpinned by providing a world class service with focus on improving customer service experience.

  • Experience auditing health & safety, and quality within a building environment.
  • Effective communication with Contract Services Manager, Works Supervisors, Team Leaders, Spotless Trades People, contact centre staff.
  • Distribution of reports (via email) to all relevant stakeholders, including the Quality & Assurance Manager, Contract Management, specified Kainga Ora Management & Contact Centre Team Leader (where relevant).
  • Escalation of potential cause of delays in incident investigations (in writing) and reporting to the Quality & Assurance Manager and Contract/Contract Services Manager (where relevant).
  • Provide technical OHS & Quality related advice to Works Supervisors, Team Leaders and Subcontractors as required, to assist compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
  • Provide training and inductions for new employees and Subcontractors on the contract requirements and WMS, where required.
