Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Quarry Worker for our Ardmore facility located in , Fort Wayne IN.

What You'll Get To Do

• Work in all areas of the plant as needed - this may be in different areas of the plant (i.e. repair, yard clean-up).
• Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and company regulations
• Report unsafe conditions
• Report accidents or incidents immediately
• Utilize equipment in a manner to maximize productivity and minimize wear and down time
• Perform a daily walk-around inspection and fill out inspection form
• Recognize contaminated material and report unusual conditions to supervisor
• Load a variety of materials to meet legal load limits
• Fuel and lube equipment as needed
• Work 2nd shift

What We Are Looking For

• Prefer high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Aggregate production experience a must
• Prefer working knowledge of equipment operation and open pit mining
• Must be able to carry 50 pounds
