Job description:

• Work with the RNO team to implement the RNO waste management plan.
• Responsible for all waste streams on site.
• Coordinate the establishment of site waste collection areas.
• Coordinate the collection schedule for all waste streams on site and manage service providers associated.
• Monitor scrap metal bins and ensure fill line is not exceeded.
• Coordinate the movement of scrap metal to the dedicated tipping area.
• Work with RNO teams to implement processes for collection and removal of 'other waste' types, including IBCs, grease, oil barrels and building rubble.
• Tracking of controlled waste and recording of certificates.
• Oversee the collection process for used batteries.
• Training RNO teams on waste types, disposal methods etc.
• Identify areas for improving efficiency within waste management processes at RNO and work with the RNO team to implement.
• Liaison with the Health, Safety, Environment and training department to ensure compliance to site and legislative requirements.
• Monthly reporting on waste streams.
• Maximise recycling opportunities
