About Your Role:
Downer Group's Corporate Services Division is seeking a full-time Legal Administrator for a 6-month contract, with potential to move to permanent. Reporting to the Executive Support Services Manager, the role supports the executives and wider team in the Downer business with day-to-day management of the legal, governance and related functions. The role will be based in our Sydney, North Ryde office with working from home options!
This is a diverse role which will be well suited to a person who possesses a genuine drive and enthusiasm to succeed and provide proactive, professional and efficient support to the team.
About You:
The successful candidate will take ownership with and pride in their work and possess advanced computer knowledge, excellent organisational abilities coupled exceptional communication flair with the ability to multitask and handle conflicting deadlines. You will have will demonstrated experience in Coordinator role, ideally within a corporate environment.
To be successful in this role, you will be or demonstrate:
- Strong administration experience as an AE / PA / general admin role, in a busy environment (experience in the legal sector advantageous, however not essential)
- A fast learner; evidence of learning a new system quickly
- Confident, proactive, assertive and take ownership of a role
- Extensive diary and travel management experience
- Detailed expense management (ideally Concur Expense Management System)
- Ability to effectively coordinate meetings and functions
- Competent with the use of Adobe Acrobat & MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
