Job Description

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Coordinator, the Continuous Improvement (CI) Analyst will drive innovation and continuous improvement of processes and systems in GSS PS and implement programs that will have continuing long-term benefits in terms of user experience, efficiency, and effectiveness.

The primary accountabilitieswill incorporate:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a ‘best-in-class' continuous improvement approach across GSS PS with a strong focus on Service performance.
  • Collaborate with the GSS PS CI team to implement the CI Strategy and support automation opportunities within service delivery.
  • Support continuous measurement of the performance of the processes, solutions, and services against defined service levels to identify opportunities for refinement of the process to increase efficiency, effectiveness and customer centricity.
  • Partners with Group HR Centres of Excellence (COE) and GSS PS Service Line Leads to ensure that the needs of all stakeholders are identified, prioritised, and optimised in line with the Group People & Organisation strategy, achieving objectives through effective service delivery.
  • Ensure Knowledge Management practices are in place to improve decision making, increase efficiency to access knowledge, ensure a common understanding and systematically maintain knowledge and data for GSS PS.
  • Support the implementation of value adding customer solutions by working with key stakeholders, to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing programme of change.
  • Assist with translation of requirements into process and technical designs that meet business expectations and are in harmony with the GSS PS service catalogues.
  • Support on-going and regular reviews to monitor delivery of services, projects and programs within the portfolio and drive delivery of benefits, and monitor changes in strategy, vision, or approaches.
  • Assist with the formulation of the project plan, specifications, and resource requirements of the optimisation projects.
  • Monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance.
  • Contribute to post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.
  • Assist teams to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements.


Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline combined with practical experience.
  • Accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt will be advantageous.
  • Proven continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis.
  • Previous experience in process engineering will be highly regarded
  • Track record of interfacing with and influencing across all functions of the business.
  • MS Projects, MS Visio, Smart Sheets and MS Office proficiency.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of change concepts.
  • Strong analytical, project and product management skills.
