Purpose of Role

Kinross is looking for a summer student who is highly motivated to learn, grow and be a part of the Treasury Department during the summer of 2024.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Treasury team with existing global projects
  • Assist with preparing liquidity dashboards and other reporting items
  • Assist in maintaining the Treasury Management System and reporting
  • Assist with intercompany sales and tracking of shipments
  • Assist with insurance, as needed
  • Create detailed presentations, work with financial models and develop reports as required
  • Preparation of banking and compliance documentation
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and analysis
  • Assist with internal/external audit requirements
  • Process certain invoices
  • Other duties as required


Minimum Requirements

  • 3rd or 4th year in Business Finance or related field
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Cooperative team player and can work independently
  • Demonstrate a high level of autonomy, flexibility and organization skills
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of operations and senior management
  • Excellent time management skills and able to meet deadlines
  • Computer/technical skills - MS Excel, MS Office and PowerPoint
  • Prior knowledge of Bloomberg will be considered an asset
