We are now recruiting for the position of Senior Specialist - Mechanical.

The Senior Specialist - Mechanical will develop procedures and training programs for plant maintenance projects & improvement initiatives that may arise in the Belts & Rubber, Crushing and equipment, facilities, and ancillary areas. Ensure plant availability and reliability is maintained in an environment of conflicting maintenance and operational requirements in a technically complex operation.

Ideally, our preferred applicant with have 10 years + experience in a supervisory role in fixed plant maintenance and operations of large process plants including planning and executing major shutdowns. Certificate III Belt Splicing is essential.

This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Specialist - Mechanical to work in a unique and challenging environment. We're keen to receive applications from those who are adept with the following.
  • Active participation in scheduling and implementation of planned maintenance tasks and assisting the Superintendent - Crushing Operations in the direction of team members.
  • Sound planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good familiarity and technical skills with P&IDs and technical drawings.
